The power returned around 6 a.m. on Sunday, and the team sprang into action. They discarded spoiled ice cream, cleaned the shop, and worked late into the night to produce enough hard ice cream to reopen the next day. By Tuesday, the shop was back to full capacity, a testament to the community's support and the shop's resilience.
Feldschuh and Ranghell emphasized the strength of the Riverhead community, noting how quickly the town recovered from the storm.
